Day 33 Portland to Portland - Holland to Marshall, MI

Today we stair-stepped our way south and east through Michigan.  92 miles and 2400 ft of climbing.

We had one scary moment today, as one of the riders went down after touching the wheel of the rider in front of them.  A hospital visit and a concussion are the results.  No broken bones!

We continue to work our way through farmland.  No interesting or exciting pictures.  We did ride around a few lakes that I am sure are packed every summer.

There was a car museum stop option on the ride today.  I didn't stop in, but some of our crew did.

Dinner tonight was at the Dark Horse Brewery.  A combination brewery, restaurant, retail shop and Tattoo parlor.  I walked out having gotten dinner and a beer.  No Tattoo.

Dark Horse Brewery Allies Black Ale.

State 10 comes tomorrow.  O H I O

  1. Will the rider with the concussion be able to finish the rest of the journey? Shouldn’t be riding for a while after a concussion…. Tough break!
